No, you only get 2 ultrasounds at 12 weeks and 20 weeks. You can go to www.9manudir.is and pay 16900 kr for a 3d ultrasound if you wish. The only reason you could go to an extra ultrasound at the hospital is if the midwife was worried that your baby wasn't growing enough or some other worries. 

I have been told same thing by a midwife at fosturgreiningardeil who taken ultrasound for me but a friend of mine she was sure that everything was ok with her and baby at her last check 20 weeks but still she got next an utrasound at 32 weeks??? That's what i did not understand

Sometimes if women have had big babies in the past they get an extra ultrasound. Has she had a big baby before? There is always a reason for extra ultrasounds, it is not for fun. 

Yes,she had a girl 3 years ago and her girl is healthy and wasnt big ,she was 3,2kg when she was born.i was confused when my friend told me that everyone are allow to take an ultrasound at 32 weeks as the week 12and 20 so i thought that i must have has miss understand what midwife told me but as you said to me so it's would be her who miss understand it.hope she and baby will be ok.It 's nice of you to respond my post :).Thank you.

There are only 2 ultrasounds if everythibg is ok. Does your friend live in Reykjanesbær? I think they have 3 ultrasounds there.

no,she is here in reykjavik :),that's why i was surprise when she told me that she allow to take the third ultrasound at 32 weeks even know she and her baby are fine .

It could also be if her placenta is sitting low, then they want to check again around 32-34 weeks to see if it has moved up.
I will have 3 ultrasounds at least because my older baby was born under the average weight and because my placenta is sitting low.

It could be,im not sure what was wrong,maybe she just miss understood something :)
